Since 2018, Dyslexie Font has collaborated with the Hoi Foundation to organize the Dutch Week of Dyslexia every first week of October. Our aim is to alter perceptions of neurodiversity and dyslexia by providing information to dyslexic individuals, parents, children, teachers, and businesses.

The center of gravity is positioned below. The letters feature a distinct baseline, preventing them from being inverted.
DISTINCTIVE SHAPES
The shapes of the letters are subtly adjusted to minimize the likelihood of turning, mirroring, and swapping letters.
BIGGER OPENINGS
The openings in Dyslexie Font letters are made bigger. This helps each letter stand out and be easily recognized by its shape.
SLANTED LETTERS
Similar-looking letters are slightly inclined to make it easier to distinguish between different characters.
EXTENDED STROKES
The letters with ascenders and descenders have been elongated to increase the differentiation between similar letters.
IMPROVED SPACING
The gaps between individual letters and words are increased, making reading more comfortable and preventing a crowded appearance.
FROM CAPITAL TO DOT
Capital letters and punctuation marks are made bold, highlighting the breaks, endings, and beginnings of phrases.
INCREASED X-HEIGHT
